I did it. I finally graduated (and surprisingly survived) High School!! woop woop
Come to think of it, I can’t believe it’s finally over. All the stress, the sleepless nights, the endless longing to be free; it’s done. Goodbye to my uniform. Goodbye to the same old school routine. Farewell to everything I’ve been through for the past thirteen years of my school life as a Paulinian. But even though freedom has a sweet taste, some part of me will miss this. I don’t want to, but I will.
So where to start. Ahh, High School. It’s like what you see in american movies (minus all the sex, parties, and the so called “perfect high school boyfriend”). It starts with the average girl (yep, that’s me) being exposed to this jungle of different animals (oh you know the cliques. the popular, nerds, sporty people, etcetera etcetera). Eventually, this girl goes through some failures, some achievements, some fights, and all those random shit you experience in school.
Truthfully, high school was tough for me. But I guess in the end it was also worth it. There are times when I failed, yet I learned. There are times when I lost some friends, yet I gained new. It was the best and worst experiences I had in my life (well so far. there is still college omg) and above all else, I am thankful.
Thank you mom and dad for enrolling me to a good school and providing me with my needs (and also wants hehe). I do hope my grades, diploma, and awards is enough to make you proud :( If not, I promise to do better in college.
Thank you teachers for your patience in teaching in me. Mostly in Math and Filipino (a.k.a. the subjects I really suck at ever since grade school).
Thank you sisters for…umm..being there?? lol kidding. For handling the school? (yep well that sounds about right). Oh wait! I know!! For teaching me to pray. properly. and also teaching me the Paulinian values:)
Thank you friends for mostly everything. For making me smile, laugh, cry, and for sticking around with me even though I am the “weird” one hahaha. I was supposed to make each one of you a grad gift letter but I crammed and I wasn’t able to finish it (well I started, but I got lazy in the end. sorry. But if you want, we can exchange grad photos and I’ll write a letter at the back:) hihi) JSYK, You guys are wonderful (and weird like me) in your own way and I’m not regretting any moment I spent with you. Sorry if there are times when I hurt you (those were probably my I-hate-everyone-and-the-world-days) and also the times when I annoy you or infected you with my sabawness (those days I just can’t help it hahaha). Oh geez, it’s just the first day of summer and I’m already missing you. Haayyy. Here’s a thousand smiles ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ because I know you’ll remember me as the girl who smiles a lot. And here’s a thousand hearts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to show my love. I may not look like it, but I really really really love you guys. Thank you so much for not only being my friend, but also being my sister (NUXX). And also making my high school life AWESOME and memorable. Please do keep in touch!! (omg I’m being clingy now) and goodluck in college!! I know you guys will make new friends but please don’t forget me!! (yep, I’m really being clingy). Congrats again!!
I do wish you the best!:)
Most of all, thank you God for making it all happen. Pictures may fade, but these memories will live on:)
